Course program

The course is dedicated to pianists who want to start an alternative path to solism, then start, deepen or perfect the profession of master collaborator.

The masterclass provides for the study of lyrical works and/or individual work arias.

Particular importance will be given to the methods of execution, loyalty to the score but also to executive traditions, and to practice with singers, STUDENTS OF THE SINGS MASTERCLASSES, with which hours of study and collective study are planned together with the teachers .

The study and exercise of reading at first sight will also be very important which is a fundamental part of the work of the master collaborator.

Symphonic/choral repertoire

During the lessons, In addition to the correct approach on piano accompaniment, The knowledge of lyrical works and among the most important songs of the symphonic/choral repertoire will deepen.

Furthermore, part of the course will be dedicated to the preparation of choral songs normally used in the competitions of lyrical and symphonic entities.

The collaboration with singers will give the opportunity to learn how to accompany lyrical arias or simply how to teach a single choral part.

During the lessons, in addition to the correct approach to piano accompaniment, the knowledge of operas and some of the most important pieces of the symphonic/choral repertoire will be deepened. Furthermore, part of the course will be dedicated to the preparation of choral pieces normally used in competitions of opera and symphony organisations. Collaboration with singers will give the opportunity to learn how to accompany operatic arias or simply how to teach a single choral part.

Mirco Roverelli ha Once the piano diploma is obtained under the guidance of Maestro Stefano Cucci with the Massimo of the votes at the Conservatory of S.Cecilia in Rome, where he also studied composition.

He then followed the specialization course held by Maestro S. around the National Academy of S.Cecilia graduating in 1995 with maximum votes and praise.

Had the first statement to just 9 years resulting winner of the second prize at the "Pianisti d'Italia Cup". Since then he has collected numerous awards in various national and international competitions (including 6 first prizes).

Debuted in a solo recital only 12 years and since then he has held concerts, also as a soloist with orchestra, In the main Italian cities.

Abroad he played in prestigious concert halls, among which the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh are remembered, Il golden living room of the colon theater di Buenos Aires, Wells Chaterral in England, il Museo Liszt in Budapest.

In addition to the solo activity, For twenty years he has been actively dedicated to collaboration in the opera and symphonic choral repertoire.

Collaborates with Rai, Radio 3 and recorded for the "La Barcaccia" broadcast selections from Carmen with B.Baglioni and Falstaff with G.taddei, F.cossotto, A.Romero e J.Perry. Accompanied internationally renowned singers:  among others, J. Carreras, F. bonisolli, A.RINALLI, R.ARONICA,F.M.Capitanucci, J. Kaufmann, A. Netrebko, S. Ganassi (Just to name a few).

Dal 1998 He is a master collaborator of Sala at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, and worked with the greatest directors including: W.Sawallisch, J. Tate, C.abado, G.Sinopoli, M.W.Chung, G.Pretre, D.oren, A.pappano and many others.

E’ was the pianist for the concert held by the great baritone Leo Nucci held in Spoleto for his 40 years of career, Of which a concert was also recorded a live CD.

E’ regularly invited to important international competitions as an accompanying pianist and to keep master classes as a trainer of lyrical singers.

In March 2016 He was invited to keep a symphonic concert with the Bacau Symphony Orchestra, enjoying a very warm success.

In July 2017 He made his debut at the Mythos Opera Festival in the Carmen of G.BIZET, In the magnificent setting of the Maniace Castle of Siracusa. In the 2018 He made his debut as director in Traviata at the Festiva Viva Opera di Magnitogorsk in Russia.
