Soloists of’ AMRDS

 

Pprofessionals from the art world, singers and instrumentalists, teachers of singing and music historians, actors and directors who engage through concerts, shows, seminars, master and events, at the studio, enhancement, implementation and dissemination of the Italian repertoire, but above all to the development of the work done by Maestro Alberto Vitolo, researcher of the '700 Neapolitan (artistic director of the AMRDS) the masters of the Neapolitan School of 1700: Scarlatti, Jommelli, Cimarosa, Paisiello, Anfossi, Fiorenza, Guglielmi, Piccinni, Logroscino, During, etc..

Pprofessionals who alternate in the various ensemble and work formations, depending on the type of repertoire or skill required in the event program.

L’Vocal and instrumental ensemble has gradually been enriched with new artists and has participated in important events in Italy and abroad: by 2007 the 2010 She has partnered with the Neapolitan Music Society of New York in a common purpose and share the same aims and objectives of enhancement and dissemination of the musical heritage of the '700 Neapolitan (in general and Italian) all’estero.

Inn particular, ‘The AMRDS Soloists’, They are specialized in the Italian repertoire of classic Neapolitan 600/700, as well as in that of the songwriters Napoletana; besides having been a regular guest of the American Society for the most prestigious events, They cooperated with the review Romatinèe Musical in Rome and the concerts 'sonority Italian in the world' in Reggio Calabria. With the Laboratorium Theater of Rome-International Center for Research and Experimental Theater, They accounted for concerts and shows (“Spell”, tribute to Francesco Paolo Tosti; “Jesce sun”, Song Napolitana) successful, using the direction of Sergio Sivori and the valuable collaboration of the actress Cristina Giordana.

Fra the most important commitments, the tour in Bulgaria 2004, for the first modern performance of the Mass in D major by N. Jommelli (Sofia),  the concert for the celebration Scarlatti (250Anniversary of the death of Domenico Scarlatti) in November 2007, in the Scarlatti room of the S. Pietro a Majella in Naples, with the execution of the 'Stabat Mater’ by Domenico Scarlatti a 10 voices directed by Maestro Roberto Gabbiani (events in collaboration with the Domenico Scarlatti association of Naples, President Enzo Amato); the tour in New York 2008, with the conference-concert at the Casa Italiana Zerilli – Marimò of New York University, and the prestigious concert at the 'J. H. Skirball Center for the Performing Arts of NY’, con la Neapolitan Symphony Orchestra (Concertmaster M° Alberto Vitolo) Masters of the '700 Napoletano with the performance of instrumental pieces and arias in the world premiere.

Gthe artists were also invited to the United States, to hold seminars, conferences and master classes, in various academies, universities and youth orchestras: by 2008 Vitolo M ° and M ° Longobardi (President of the Neapolitan Music Society) they held master classes on the Neapolitan eighteenth century at the McCallum Chamber Orchestra in Austin, Texas; Albany High School Orchestra, Albany, NY; Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra, Saratoga, NY.

Inn Italy, the ensemble has participated (July 2009) the 34th edition of the Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano (Siena) with the representation of the show 'Stabat Mater Action' Sergio Sivori, director and actor of the Laboratorium Teatro in Rome, with music by Alberto Vitolo: show that has seen a great acceptance and appreciation of the public and specialized critics (Curtain review in August 2009, Il Giornale della Musica in July 2009). The Stabat Mater Action was then performed at the Theater Festival 'The arts of gesture' by S. Avenged Sevenfold, KR, nell’agosto 2009.

Nthe 2010 dell'AMRDS Soloists have performed in a concert for the European Music Festival in Rome, Hadrian in the Hall of Horti Sallustiani, with a repertoire of instrumental and vocal music from the Italian '700 to' 900, in particular with a tribute to Francesco Cilèa (the 60th anniversary of the death).

Shave been invited back to America, where M ° Vitolo has prepared, with M ° Gioacchino Longobardi, the Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra for the concert on the '700 Neapolitan of the New Year's Eve in Saratoga, held in the Church of St. Peter, Saratoga, NY.

Alberto Vitolo, Tiziana Pizzi and Joachim Lombards were also guests of the prestigious Women's Club of Albany, for a concert of chamber music by Italian.

GThe vocal and instrumental ensembles of the association are dedicated to the work of disseminating the Italian repertoire with always new projects and events,  while enriching itself with the collaborations of emerging artists.
